Bergen, known as the rainiest city i Europe but also with some of the best producers over decades. In the mid 2000s the city was the melting pot for norwegian popular music. Røyksopp, Kings of Convenience. Datarock and many more was the creative heartbeat that soon would stretch all over the world.
Annie was one of the high riders of this wave. Remember her breakthrough single, Heartbeat, from the album Anniemal (2004)?
In 2020, she released Dark Hearts, an album packed with synth-driven, spooky cinematic music — this could have been a movie soundtrack!
